| Where Does Pre-Owned Equipment Come from? |
All of the equipment available in our pre-owned section has been traded in
at one of our nationwide stores. Each club is Professionally valued at the
time and is then packaged for return to our Head Office

| How Is It Rated & Cleaned? |
Before it can go on sale each piece of equipment is put through a rigorous testing, cleaning and inspection process. Every single club goes through the following tried and tested procedure to ensure you are delighted with your purchase:
- Grip, shaft and head cleaned to remove any mud, grass or sand.
- Head buffed
to remove any minor scratches
- Ferrule checked and cleaned
- 5 Point Inspection – This inspection is
performed by a PGA Qualified Professional and thoroughly covers the whole
of the golf club. This ensures
that each club receives the correct appraisal and is in good structural
working order.
- Condition Rating – Once it has been cleaned and
inspected, each item is put through a 10 Step Condition Rating. Performed
by a PGA Qualified
Professional this rating notes the condition of the head, shaft and
grip. Notes are also
taken of the exact make and model, make and flex of shaft and any
other features that need to be displayed.
- Individually photographed – We
do not believe in using ‘stock’ images
so every pre owned club is photographed to give you the best possible
indication of condition.
- To ensure the club arrives with you in the
best possible condition each club comes professionally wrapped
and packaged and will arrive with you via a
registered
courier.

of Pre Owned Department |
- First Come First Served – Every item that is displayed in the pre-owned
section is the last one we have. Therefore, once it has gone, it’s gone for
good, so the orders will be treated strictly on a first come, first served
basis. Remember that new stock will be added daily so keep checking back
for new deals.
- Warranty – Due to many items being outside the
manufacturers warranty, no warranty is given or implied on items bought
from the Direct Golf UK pre-owned department.
- 14 Day Return Satisfaction Guarantee - To ensure that you are delighted
with your purchase, all pre-owned equipment bought through the Direct Golf
UK pre-owned
department is covered by a ’14 day’ money back guarantee. If, during the first
14 days following the receipt of the purchase, you wish to return any product
in the exact condition that you received it (has not been played with), a 100%
refund will be given for the price you paid for the product. You will be responsible
for all shipping costs unless an incorrect product was shipped. If you would
like to return a pre-owned product please contact Customer Services on 08000 139 139 to obtain a returns number.
- Website Only – Due to the very limited stock, Pre-owned equipment is only available
to purchase through our award winning, secure website. Enquiries
may be made through our telesales department but the final purchase must
be made through
the website.
- VAT - All pre-owned gear is VAT exempt. Unfortunatly
this means VAT can not be deducted for tax
exempt customers.
